What are the basics required to learn SCCM?

I'm working as an Application Packager & would like to learn SCCM.

Prior to that, I would like to know what are the basics or Pre-requisites that are required to learn SCCM.

Examples: Active Directory .. So and So

HI Jarugu,

Here you have couple example of the Basics of the product:

http://sccmfaq.blogspot.com/

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682106.aspx

You can make your pick about the technologies involved: ADDS, WSUS, MDT, bit of IIS, some networking, SQL, Log reading.... But mostly depends on the role that you will like to play: Troubleshooting? Support? Designer? Deployment?

Additionally you can take a look at the MS Virtual Academy for free:

Hope you like it!

My pleasure.

Additionally you can have some "Touch and Feel" experience on the product on the Technet Virtual Labs, if you want to get hands on, and familiarized with the Console, Operations, etc...

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/virtuallabs/bb467605.aspx

Between 2012R2 and 2012 SP1 you have around 22 Guided Scenarios, like Deployment, Client Management, Migration from 2007, Managing Software Updates... Every day tasks for the ones that we work with this product.

Regards!
