Looking for a checklist of what features in SharePoint to check for after an update (Service Pack/Cumulative Update)?. (i.e. lists, alerts, etc.)

Each Service Pack or Cumulative Update include some KBs. If you know the KB number, you can refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/[KBNUMBER] and easy to find which kb fix the issues which happen in former version.
