Web report error - (rsParameterError)

I've got a new install of SCCM 2012 R2 and I'm trying to access reports. All reports work fine from the console but from the Web interface, they all error. This affects both reports requiring me to enter parameters & those that don't. I'm just playing with the stock reports at the moment. The error I receive is:

  • Parameter validation failed. It is not possible to
provide valid values for all parameters. (rsParameterError)

I would re-install your reporting role. it seem like there is an issue with the reporting role and how they access the RBA addition in CM12R2.

If that doesn't work, then I would check how IE is configured on your WS and also I would try this directly from IE on the site server too.

Thanks, the re-install of the role was helpful. It is now working on the server. I'm still getting the same error on my browser, but I guess that's a local problem. Any additional suggestions are welcomed.

So to be clear it works in IE on the Site server but not from your workstation.

Have you enabled remote errors?

Correct, it's only IE on my workstation that shows the error. I have enabled remote errors, but the error stays the same.

This might seem like a stupid question but are you sure that the error stay the same. I have never seen that error where it work on the site server but not remotely, it is generally an all or nothing error.

Can you post a screenshot of the error from your PC.

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Sorry I dont know why I didnt see this earlier. Generally I see this when someone doesnt have access to the Resources and they are drill thought from one report to another report. Is this the care for you?
