Web parts Maintenance Page
I am trying to add the custom webpart to the sharepoint page and I am getting this error Error File Not Found. Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to temporarily close web parts or remove personal settings. For more information contact your site administrator. Can someone help me with this error?

Hi Anitha, I suppose there is some error in your Custom Webpart code. I have the same opinion, it might have some issue with the code. from maintenance page try to see whether the webpart is at all added in the page or not. Then go to the ULS log and see if there is anything help-ful there. In order to get good information in the log you can first change the Diagnostic-Logging mode to Verbose and then try. Or It could be because of some issue in the webpart gallery from where we usually add those webparts in the page. That is something you have to check and confirm.

Hi, Go to your web application web.config file and make below changes (c:/inetpub/wwwroot/wss/virtual dir../port no/web.config) CallStack = True and Customerror mode ="Off" This change will give you the exact error of your custom webpart.
