Hi Once i have observed, that web application monitoring, for some of the web applications monitored from one specific server had stopped. There were no alerts, or other sorts of information, that this had happened. The reason why i fond out, is that we have made some special monitoring websites, which also logs timing and so on. First I didnt know, how to be sure that it was scom not working. I then found some info, which pointed me to a report in scom, which could show, how many times, a specefic monitor had been run a day. The report showed, the day, the monotoring stopped, because the was only a limited amount checks, and there where no checks for a couple of weeks. At the time i didnt have any alerting set up, for response time or http status code. This I have set up now, for all my web applications. The server checking those websites monitors 39 web applications we are running som 2007 r2 How can i secure that everything is working as intended. It is not enough to monitor through reports ! best regards Ivan K
