Web analytics report not avaiable after site restore.

Hi,

We have a site collection which we wanted to move to different db server.

So we took the site collection backup and restored it in new db server.

Now the web analytics data is not available for this site collection alone, We are able to generate for other site collection.

Also the data was available from the date when the restore was completed.

Thanks,

HI,

you can chek the configuration of Web analytics .

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg266382(v=office.14).aspx

To configure the Web Analytics service application by using the Farm Configuration Wizard

    • On the Central Administration Web site, click Configuration Wizards.

    • On the Configuration Wizards page, click Launch the Farm Configuration Wizard.

    • On the first page of the Farm Configuration Wizard, click Start the Wizard.

    • On the services configuration page, in the Services section, click to select the Web Analytics Service Application check box.

    • Click Next.
    • Complete any other configuration steps for the server farm.

    • On the final page of the Farm Configuration Wizard, click Finish.

    • To create the Web Analytics service application by using Central Administration

      1. Verify that the user account that is performing this procedure is a member of the Farm Administrators SharePoint group.

      2. In Central Administration, on the Home page, click Application Management.

      3. On the Application Management page, in the Service Applications section, click Manage service applications.

      4. On the ribbon, click New, and then click Web Analytics Service Application.

      5. For the Application Pool parameter, specify an existing application pool name or create a new application pool name.

      6. For the Database Server parameter, specify a database server name for the service application.

      7. For the Staging Database Name parameter, type the name of the staging database.

      8. For the Reporting Database Name parameter, type the name of the reporting database.

      9. Click OK.
