Web Part Error: Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource. Correlation ID

Hello!

I have sharepoint 2013 document library with special permissions. For not grant user on page seen error:

Error[1] Web Part Error: Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource. Correlation ID ...

But I want to view library name and when click on library name I want to link to standart access denied page .

How decided this problem?

Instead of displaying error page, you can target your web part to only group of users who have access to it. People who don't have access will not be able to see the web part at all. This can be achieved by using out of the box, Target audience feature. Edit the webpart, under Advanced options - you will find Target audience. You can specify a target group of audience there.

Please let me know, if i misunderstood the question.

Thanks.

Thank you, Bharath Arja!

You are understand question well. But I want to use access denied page.

The access denied page work if document library created on parent site, and child site not have permission for parent document library.

Hi zrabzdn,

Do you want users without permission are able to view the name of the SharePoint library and are redirected to the access denied page when they click the library name?

If that is the case, you could add a link named library name linked to the library in Quick Launch or Left Navigation in SharePoint. Then users view the name of the library and it displays error page when they click on the link.

If the library is a web part in the page, you could create a custom link in this page.

A post about how to add links in Quick Launch or Left Navigation for your reference:

If it doesnt work, please provide a screen shot about the error and provide more details about Correlation ID in ULS logs.

An even better way to get the real SharePoint error from the ULS logs:
