Have you added or changed a custom web part recently? I normally see this in a site where a new web part is uploaded that has a changed set of custom properties, for example a new property added, without doing an iisreset. It happens because the old properties are cached and when the new web part tries to de-serialize them there is a mismatch between the old property layout and the new one. Performing an IISreset and refreshing the page normally takes care of it. Occasionally I've had to remove the web part from the page and re-add it.Paul Stork SharePoint Server MVP

Hi Paul, No custom Web part were added. I tried to refresh the page but no luck :(. But interesting this is when I tried to open Sharepoint Site in Sharepoint Designer then I got below error. soap:ServerServer was unable to process request. ---> There is not enough space on the disk. Initially I allocated 10 Gb for Sharepoint, yesterday when I clicked on Site Usage Report then it showed 4 GB remaining. So the error which I am getting is because of Less Space?? If yes then where my 4 GB space has gone? and what is the minimum space on which sharepoint starts giving error ? Thanks, Kamal Nag

Like Paul told, is this a custom webpart?? Check if your page works fine if you removed your webpart using the maintenance page. Also, check these discussions on your similar issue: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/581670/sharepoint-webpart-deserialize-error http://www.intelliadmin.com/index.php/2008/02/cannot-deserialize-the-web-part-the-fix/BR, PM

I normally do at least a 20GB disk for a SharePoint VM install. Depending on how you have setup logs they can consume a lot of disk space. Working files for indexing can take up a lot too. Paul Stork SharePoint Server MVP
