We have SCCM 2012 SP1 on Win 2K8

The software updates are not syncing and we are getting below errors repeatedly.

Error 1:

Sync failed: The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable. Source: Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.ApiRemoting.GetSubscriptionState

Error 2:

Did you install the WSUS hotfixes post SP1 installation? (KB2720211 & KB2734608)

A few out of context error messages are worthless.

Please tell us which log you pulled them from and post entire snippets so that the errors can be interpreted properly. Also, please describe the placement of your WSUS instance and SUP relative to the other site roles as well as the Internet.

Both the hostfixes are already installed.

I pulled the errors from the Wsyncmgr.log.

The WSUS and SUP are on same server.

It is a standalone primary server with all roles, wsus, DB on same sever.

That log file shows the WSUS instance successfully connecting and retrieving update metadata as well as synching that metadata to ConfigMgr.

Check the WSUS service, Windows Internal database service, SQL server reporting service  is running or not in services.msc

if these services are stopped, star them
