Environment: Win2008R2 with SCE 2010 & WSUS 3.0 SP2, Win7 Enterprise wkstns on a single domain

This environment has run fine for several years. But recently, I noticed that most of the workstations are recording the following types of errors when WSUS attempts to collect inventory. Note that the Finding Updates process in the log continues to work fine - it is only Inventory Collection which seems to have an issue.
