We have downloaded and installed two RSS Web parts from codeplex in our WSS3.0 environnment. Our network team has updated the Bluecoat tool to allow external feeds to be shown (http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_tech.rss) and they do show as expected. However the RSS feed from a document library on the same site as the RSS web part fails with a 401 Unauthorized error. I know this is not correct as I can see and access the document library, I used it to get the URL for the web part. I am also Farm and Site Collection administrator with access to everything on the site. Our environment is using Kerberos and we have SETSPN so the host headers work as expected.
