WSS 3.0 usage statistics stoped working
Hi,
Again I am with WSS 3.0 inbuild usage statistics issue.
I have configurred the Usage analysis report in our WSS 3.0 environment. It was working for around 2 months but suddenly it stopped working. Having very hard time to find the problem. I have tried below solutions as part of my investigation but nothing
is making the report alive in the server.
·
Restarted the Timer Service
·
Restarted the Search Service
·
Restaerd IIS
·
Restarted the server
·
Disabled and enabled the Usage Analysis Job in CA(Operations)
·
Disabled and enabled the Database Statistics Job in CA(Operations)
·
Disabled and Enabled the Usage Analysis logs in CA(Operations)
·
Enaabled the Diagonise logs in CA(Operations)
·
Failed to view the statistics through SharePoint designer 2007
·
There was no password change
·
Added Windows SharePoint Timer service account as member in WSS_WPG, WSS_ADMIN_WPG and Local Administrators groups
Thanks in advance,

Guys,
I have sorted out the issue myself.
The fact is all services and jobs are shows as active in SharePoint Central Administration but not running as expected. By disabling and enabling through Central Administration is not solving the problem.
Finally I have used STSADM command line to disable and enable all below job and the next day report started working fine. It is really strange. But I have feeling free now.
1. Usage Processing
2. Logging
3. Usage Analysis Job
4. Database Statistics Job
5. IISRESET
Thanks,
