This may be a stupid question... We have a single site in Native Mode running SP1 R2. We are interested in implementing WOL for the Environment. I have verified the configuration of our Network (UDP port9 passthrough on the switches etc) When I go to Site Settings to enable WOL, I get a message saying that the Out of Band Management Point is not installed and clients are not provisioned, and that this will need to be completed before the Configuration of WOL is complete. I have reviewed all of the MS Documentation regarding WOL and see no reference to this. Is the Out of Band Management Point Required for WOL, or is it optional?ThanksWalshtech
