Visibility of Management Pack Scope and Settings Questions
As our Ops Mgr administrator I regularly get asked questions by other analysts, such as our DBAs, such as "where can I see a list of what is scom monitoring exactly? Where is a list of all the monitors for each management pack and
what are the thresholds? What is a 'critical' state?"
Once I've explained the concept of an object and asked them to be more specific they still find it hard to understand why I can't produce a list of everything. In their heads they expect to see a schedule detailing all the alerts and monitors
provided by and MP which they can mark up indicating where they would like thresholds changed, and what type of notifcation they would like to receive.
Do others experience this and, if so, how do you deal with it?
I think they think I am being obstructive, or doubt my SCOM knowledge (they may be right in this)

We just discussed this at an MVP call only last month.
You are not alone in requesting this and many people ask for the same thing.
