I just updated SQL 2008 to SP2 and after deploying reports to the server I get prompted for the activeX viewer download every time I click the print button. It does not happen for any report deployed prior to SP2. Is there a bug/problem or a setting I need to change? Thanks.

Hi david, This is no a bug/problem. When we apply service pack or upgrade on our reporting services, the RSClientPrint Control might change on the Report Server. To print a report successfully on client sides, the rsclientprint active control must be synchronized from the server side. So, the installation prompt occurs. Sometimes, if the sync failed or did not happen, the clients can't print their reports and give a message "Unable to load client print control".
