Vertical scrollbar for tablix
Hi, How could I have a vertical scrollbar for my tablix in SSRS 2008 R2? I do not want my tablix to grow in height. Is this achievable at RDL level? Microsoft Techie

You can use a subreport for that, fix the width and height in your main report. Create a new report implementing all your tables, graphs etc. and call it in your main report through subreport. Regards Manoj

Thanks Manoj. I had that in my mind. Even I thought of doing it in aspx. But that's not what I want. I want to avoid creating multiple RDLs for different components of my report.Microsoft Techie

Hi {P}, Based on my research, there is no build-in feature to add a scrollbar on a tablix in Reporting Services. However, if you can use Reportviewer in remote mode, you will get a vertical scroll bar. For more details, please refer to the similar thread: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-SG/sqlreportingservices/thread/dc328e7a-6059-4fb6-863b-6aa7e54e6f16 Thanks, Lola Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.

Lola, I already checked out that link before posting my thread. When I use ReportViewer on aspx page, I am facing issues while passing the parameters to RDL from my ASPX. There's where my next thread comes in :( Any idea what should be done? Thx Microsoft Techie

Hi {p}, I have read your confusion in that thread. I infer that it is caused by the mismatched date value between strDate and the date type in cube. I have replied in your next thread. Thanks, LolaPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.
