Vertical Scroll Bar in SSRS
I have a non-functioning vertical scroll bar in a SSRS 2005 report. I am using IE in full display mode. My report is sized correctly, this just seems to be a default of SSRS. My report is in BIDS, not Visual Studio, so the posts I have seen on this topic (e.g. set " AsyncRendering" property to "false") are not applicable Does anyone know of a way to hide the Vertical Scroll Bar? I am able to hide all other frame aspects, and I just want my report to fill the screen 100%, as it is a dashboard. Thank you.

Hi jmcpsd, From your description, do you mean that you need to hide the vertical scroll bar when you use ReportViewer control to display the report in your web application? If so, you can try to modify the “AsynchRendering” and “SizeToReportContent” properties settings. Please refer to the steps below: 1. Click the ReportViewer control in the design page. 2. In the Properties window, set the “AsynchRendering” property to “FALSE”, and then set the “SizeToReportContent” property to “TRUE”. Hi Bin. I think the configuration you are recommending pertains to the Report Viewer Control in Visual Studio. I am not using Visual Studio, just the SSRS BIDS 2005 Development platform. Are you saying this will work for the SSRS BIDS 2005 development platform? Also, it has nothing to do with the content. By default, this right veritcal bar is always displayed, even though it does not need to be resized. In fact, there isn't a way to even scroll it, since the window is not taller than the content. Any ideas?

Hi jmcpsd, Sorry for my misunderstood. I’m afraid the vertical scrollbars cannot be hidden in BI Development Studio authoring environments. Since this is by design. Good Morning, Bin. Is it possible to make this scrollbar transparent through a CSS of Reporting Services? Perhaps that is a workaround. If so, can you tell me what CSS file would be the one and the entry required? Thank you,
