Versions Issues of Uploaded Documents
Hello, Can any one advice me on this issue? when I uploaded files with the same name to a Document library, a new version would be created and the file name stayed the same before. Now, it does not create a new version, eventhough the check box "add new version to existing files" is checked, and it adds it with a new name with a[1] at the end. Does any one ran in to this issue? Please do let me know. Thanks in Advance

Till what number were the Versions for that file getting created? Have you kept the file checked out and then trying to save the file? Has anyone else checked-out the file? Are you working on a read-only version of that file? Is the versioning settings still enabled in the document library settings?BR, PM
