Versioning Pages
I have created a SharePoint page and it rests in the Pages Library I have for it. So, when I go to Manage Content & Structure to copy it to another library it only copies the page template I used (Blank Web Part page, Article page...), It does not carry over the content on the page. Furthermore, when I click on the previous versions to restore an older version of my page it keeps giving me the current one. It's like all the old versions became the current version. It's weird. HI, It is something weird and needs to be figured out. I think that your page contains some content which is not accessible to the account you are using for manage content and structure hence . In the second part if you are mentioning about content on webparts then it is the expected behaviour since webpart details are not stored in the versions. Thanks, Rahul Rashu

Hi Sp2007new, As Rahul mentioned alrady you can't restore a web part page to a previous version - check this thread for details (excerpts below). "It's a known issue that the web parts on your page is not included in your version history and cannot be restored. You may use field control instead of web part whenever possible to keep version history" http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointcustomization/thread/ae78f440-c3e8-4a15-8c1d-084bb5f957b4 For copying the .aspx page try SharePoint designer. Hope this helps!
