Hi, we got a new client requirement to devolop sharepoint site in chinese language. I installed sharepoint language packs successfully in dev environment and also East Asian languages to support OS.Then I created variation labels for both english and Chinese languages.When I create a article page in english,the same page is created in chinese too. Even I can see all the links like site actions blah blah... in chinese but not the content I entered in the page. Is sharepoint has ability to translate the text from english to chinese by default.send me some articals which really helps me. Thanks in Advance Satish

You use Variations to create different language sites but *you* have to provide the content in the other language.
