Using VS2008 to develop reports (RDL) for Reporting Services (SSRS). Has worked fine for the last year. Updated an existing report, clicked Preview and got this error message "System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005): Command "View.Output" is not available." DB local, upgraded to SP1 trying to fix no go. Anybody got any ideas how to fix? Mark

If I misunderstand you, please feel free to let me know. Actually, SSRS 2008 can author below schema version of three scenarios: 2000 RDL upgrades to 2008 RDL 2005 RDL upgrades to 2008 RDL 2008 RDL Based on your error message, it seems that you does not update your report correctly, please open report's XML file to see whether the Schema version is http://schemas.microsoft.com/sqlserver/reporting/2008/01/reportdefinition, please make sure you have a backup before you do any operation.
