VM freaks out after SCCM2012 install

Hi Forum,

Im having a major issue trying to install SCCM 2012. Im installing on a Server 2012 vm hosted on server 2012. Im using fixed VHDXs. Everything seems to go well, ie, WADK, SQL 2012 SP1, WSUS, and I reboot after each but then I get to SCCM and it seems to install fine, with a few errors that google says I can fix later and on rebooting the VM everything is completely screwy. The first time I built this vm I used a dynamic expanding vhdx for my C drive, after everthing I rebooted and the server came up with about 90% of the services unable to start.

2nd time I built the server, this time with fixed vhdx files, again everything seemed to install fine, but after reboot I can no longer RDP the VM and logging in from the hyper-v console gives a "desktop" that shows the start bar for a few seconds, goes black for a few seconds and continues like this until I force shutdown (power off). Also, integration services seem broken as when I click in the VM window I get an error message saying the mouse cannot be captured.

Roll back to the snapshot taken prior to installing SCCM and everything is fine again.

I cant seem to find anybody else out there having the same issue. Hopefully somebody here can help.

Please provide some more information about the installation such as CPUs, amount of RAM as well if you've configured SQL to limit memory.

Please provide the log files. Since it is a VHD(x) you can mount the file and get the content of it while mounted.

How do I go about getting the logs you require?

Use Disk Manager. You could also start the server in safe mode.

Haven't checked all the guide but this seems okey: http://thetechjournal.com/how-to/tutorial-how-to-attach-a-vhd-or-vhdx-in-disk-management-windows-8.xhtml

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening  a support case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) as they can work with you to solve this problem.
