VMWARE or Hyper-v
Just wanted to know how do you tell if your computer is running hyper-v or vmware. Is there somewhere you can look to find that out.Lee McGhee

Do you mean from inside the virtual machine or on the host? On the host its easy to tell by looking at the program menu. You'll see management programs for VMWare or for Hyper-V. since you can't install both at the same time whichever set of management programs you have will tell you what is on your host machine. Fron inside the Virtual machine the easiest way to tell is by looking at the drivers for the network cards. I know for VMware the guest uses VMware Accelerated AMD PCNet adapter drivers.
