Using SCOM, how to monitor file/directory growth on file server
I have a SCOM 2007, I want to monitor file server directory growth through SCOM.

I think you can try creating a script based monitor referring to the method below:

The one caveat I would add to the above is to consider how many files \ folders you are looking to monitor to determine the likely load on OpsMgr. If it is just a small number of key folders then this is not an issue. But if it is across a large number of
servers and folders then you might start to see significant increases in the size of the OpsMgr databases. Ideally, test the above solutions out in a test environment first to check out the likely impact on the production environment.
