Users in Sharepoint vs organization units vs permissions
I have plenty of users in ActiveDirectory and they belong to different organization units in my company.
I created Sharepoint webaplication and I would like to have this organizational structure kept in Sharepoint.
I created some oganization units and added users to them to see how it works.
But what about users' permissions? I would like to add permissions to specific organization units.
But it seems impossible. If I create sharepoint groups for users I cant add organization units to them. So what would be the best way to connect company's organizational structure with users permissions?

To throw an idea by, assuming you do not have numerous Organizational units and a manageable number you could create custom sharepoint security groups and assign custom permission levels and then throw your units into those groups.
