Users can't access libraries and lists in site collection.
SharePoint 2007, SP2. None of my users can access any of the libraries or lists in my primary site. They can however access any of the libraries and lists in any of the subsites. I have tried giving users and groups Full Control but no success. I can't find a way to check a log file for errors like this. Any suggestions? Thanks, Nick Trenary

Hi,You might be noticing this issue as user might be given permissions at the subsite level instead of site collection. How did you add users to the primary site. Are you addding users to the out of box Sharepoint groups are you using any custom groups.Steps: Go to the Primary site--> Site Actions-->Site Settings-->People and Groups. You can see all the OB sharepoint groups. Add your users into this group. Can you also check the lists whether theya re inherting permissions from Top level site (primary site)Steps:Go to the list -->Settings from the menu Bar-->List settings-->Permissions for this list.can you see this similar message like this (This list inherits permissions from its parent Web site. To manage permissions directly, click Edit Permissions from the Actions menu)Are you using any item level permissions to the lists/ documents? Thanks,Skancharla

Did you run sharepoint technology wizard and it completed without failure or warning?Try to run it again, that should fix Post Upgrade issue. Also, review Upgrade log and the ULS logs.enabling Verbose logging and then collecting the ULS logs should give much more details. Please post them incase the issue persists. Thanks!I LOVE MS.....
Thanks and Regards,
