I think what you're looking for is OSDAppTree Chooser. http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/archive/2009/11/11/osd-app-tree-2-5.aspx In conjuction with OSD++ (http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys/pages/osdplusplus.aspx,) it has made our task sequencing so versatile we have one task sequence for all applicatons (Migration, Bare metal, multiple OSes, etc.) As a side note, the guy who wrote both posts here a lot, Jason Sandys.
