We have UPS working and we also sync photos from SharePoint back to AD. This all appears to work fine. We have one AD user account that does not get created in SharePoint (the user profile does not get created), even after a full sync. I see in Forefront Identity Manager when I run a full sync some references to the user who will not sync to SharePoint: Inbound Synchronization Projections 1 Metaverse Object Deletes 1 Export Attribute Flow 1 Provisioning Delete/Adds 1 So, ForeFront sees the user in AD, but for some reason doesn't create the SharePoint user profile. Hi , Have you tried to import the user profile from AD into SharePoint in Central Administration ? The steps are like: 1. Open Central Administration>SharePoint Service Provider>User Profiles and Properties . 2. Configure Profile import >import profile data from current domain . 3. Start full import .
