User Profile Replication Engine Issue
Hi , I have stopped UPRE for some days and then started again. But now i got following error message:- Date & Time: 4/21/2011 8:44 AM Error on the pull from: http://Source Destination Server: http://Destination Change Token: 1;15107097;02/14/2011 13:52:33 System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> The change token provided preceeds the earliest change available. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at Microsoft.KNG.ReplicationEngine.Helper.UserProfileChangeService.UserProfileChangeService.GetChanges(String changeToken, UserProfileChangeQuery changeQuery) at Microsoft.KNG.ReplicationEngine.IncrementalReplicator.PullUserProfileChanges(String changeToken) at Microsoft.KNG.ReplicationEngine.IncrementalReplicator.Start(). After that i tried to run Full Replication and stop incremental replication. But in full replication got stuck after replicate few profiles. There is no alert got what i should to do and why full replication got stuck. Any help would be really appriciate Thank You. Sachin Kumar

This has to do with the changetoken getting out of sync, you can try to refresh or stop start incremental sync, please see this article http://blogs.technet.com/b/tapanm/archive/2009/07/15/understanding-user-profile-replication-engine.aspx Microsoft Certified Master | SharePoint 2007 Blog

As most of the hits I am getting for this engine are SP 2010 articles, please advise if you are using MOSS 2007 or SPS 2010. ModeratorSP 2010 "FAQ" (mainly useful links): http://wssv4faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx WSS3/MOSS FAQ (FAQ and Links) http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx Both also have links to extensive book lists and to (free) on-line chapters
