Hi, following problem:

I have created a usergroup in my UserProfile Service Application, which is synchronized with my Active Directory and it works perfectly. But now I want to set some rights for this usergroup in one of my website collections, but I can only create there completely new usergroups. Does anyone have an idea, how I can realize this?

The cause is, that i have a website collection, which should only be visible for the personnel department and for this I have a group in my UserprofileApplication which is synchronized.

How did you create a user group in your user profile service application?

As your description, my understanding is that you want the group from AD to have access on a site collection.

You can grant access permissions to an AD group in the site collection directly like granting permissions to a user.

You can do as: opening the site collection->site settings->site permissions->Grant Permissions, typing the group domain\group into "Invite people to [*]". You can change grant different permission via click "Show options", and select different permissions, like the screenshot:
