Hi, One of our users changed her last name and in our MOSS 2007 website still the old name appears. This is the scenario: In home page, if I try to add her to have permission on a site level or document library, updated name appears. But if I try this on another site collection, old name pops up. The same happens in Welcome <user_name> on the top right hand side of the page for these site collections. I checked SSP profile page and user's name is updated there. What else could be going wrong? Hi Manoj,you should check if the content db for the site is stopped. If the db is stopped the profile sync will not work for the sites in it and you will have to set it to started CA->Application Management->Manage Content Databases). After you set it online you need to check when it has been updated the last time by using stsadm.exe -o sync -listolddatabases 0. If the db isn't in there or hasn't been updated for a long time try stsadm.exe -o sync -synctiming m:1 to start a sync manually then wait 1-2 minutes and set it back to its default value by using stsadm.exe -o sync -synctiming h:1.best Regards MOSS_Test_Dummy
