Urgent-Email Notification-FIM
Hi
we trying to send email through FIM to outside domain. when user got created in FIM it should trigger mail to concerned person as well as to primary contact person(similar
to manager),but this primary contact person details are present in some other object. How to fetch the mail ID of this primary contact person from different object. there is no reference attribute in person object.
Thanks in Advance

With notifications you can access the following objects and it reference attributes:
Target
Requestor
Request
Workflow Paramters
So you do need to have a reference to this object somewhere or you need to preceed this with another workflow activity that looks up the person object to which you want to send an email. Then you can use that in the notification activityDavid Lundell, Get your copy of FIM Best Practices Volume 1 http://blog.ilmbestpractices.com/2010/08/book-is-here-fim-best-practices-volume.html

hi
thanks .
In our scenario We Created a custom object. in that object we have email ID in custom attribute we have to send mail which is present in custom attribute. While user are created in person object it has to trigger mail (where email id is present
in custom object)."Receipent" should be the email id present in custom object.
Thanks in advance
HIRA.
