Hi, I am now using shared folder to share documents among users. I plan to use Sharepoint for this purpose and since they will be alot of documents to be migrated over to here and I want to skip the hassle of uploading the documents via Internet Explorer. Anyway I can move the documents straight to the location path ie. \Program Files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\12 or something like that? This would be something like copy those files I needed and paste it in so that it would appear in the Shared Documents folder in Sharepoint Team Site Thanks

Hi, I am assuming that you are using MOSS 2007. If yes then you don't need to copy your document in \Program Files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\12 location. You can put your document in any of your PC drive. You need to only use "Open with windows explorer" or "Explorer view" to upload bunch document. Create Document Library-->Click "Open with windows explorer" from Action tab OR Click "Explorer view" from view tab.
