Upgrade to System Center 2012 SP1: Prerequisite Check failed with error "Software update points in NLB Configuration"

Hi

I'm trying to update System Center 2012 to SP1. After all prerequisite checks have been passed the Upgrade failed with an unspecified error.

After rebooting the system I started the Upgrade again. Now prerequisite check fails with the following error:

Software update points in NLB Configuration: Current SUM configuration uses virtual locations for some of the active SUPs. Please remove any virtual locations from the existing SUM configuration

Has anyone an idea how I can solve this??

Thanks

For beta issues you should post to Connect.

However, with SP1 Beta 1, upgrades are *not* supported (and of course SP1 Beta is *not* supported in production).

They are also doing away with NLB SUPs in SP1 so that's what the

I'm not sure how this could be answered already as the context here doesn't deal with the beta version.

I have the same issue. SQL log drive was out of disk. Upgrade started and bombed. Now services won't start and I get the same error. Please unmark as answered.

Has anyone figured this out? Getting the same error during pre-req check when trying to install SP1 for SCCM 2012. We're not using NLB. How do you check the active SUPs for virtual locations?

You ever resolve the Current SUM configuration uses virtual locations for some of the active SUPs issue?

None of the products on question are Beta.  Not the SCCM 2012 install nor the SP1 that we are trying to apply.  It is all Production products.

Any luck with this? I'm running into the same problem upgrading to SP1.

After giving the account that I was running the prereq with, the "sysadmin SQL Server role permissions" several of my errors was resolved including the "Software update points in NLB Configuration: Current SUM configuration uses virtual locations for some of the active SUPs. Please remove any virtual locations from the existing SUM configuration".
