Do you see any errors in the event log or the diagnostic logs? Please post them here.
Also, what account are you running the configuration wizard as and what are the previeleges of that account?
April 12th, 2011 1:15pm
I am running the setup.exe as a domain admin and the account is also part of the Farm Administrator group in SharePoint. However, one of the reasons I was trying to update the ServicePack was due to some indescrepancies I was seeing in the permissions
for the farm administrators, creating workflows, access to certain priveledges in Central Administration, and an inability to get InfoPath forms to attach to workflows in SharePoint.
I don't see anything in event logs that stands out. I have included the diagnostic logs that pertain to the upgrade above. I'm not sure what would be the greatest help, but I will be happy to provide additional information.

You marking your post as the answer does not match with the Text in it.
If the OP marks a post as an answer, that closes the thread. Yet you write " I will be happy to provide additional information." which indicates the question still hasn't be solved.
(If you do want the thread to be closed. mark your post again and I will lock the thread.

The solution Was found. In our case it was to uninstall InfoPath 2010 from the server and re-run the Service Pack Executable.
