Upgrade from ILM to FIM
I finished upgrading from ILM to FIM successfully but when I tried to start FIM i got this error message: The service was unable to start because the version of the database is newer than the version of the binaries installed. In order to enable the server to function normally, install the latest update. Please help. Thanks.

I guess you've moved the ILM database to SQL Server 2008 R2 during your upgrade to FiM? In that case you need to do an upgrade of FIM before it supports SQL Server 2008 R2. First of all you must upgrade it with Update package 1 for getting the SQL 2008 R2 support then there's a whole bunch of cumulative hot fix packages available that you can read more about here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/fim-2010-build-overview.aspx even though a hot fix shouldn't be required unless you end up having any of the specific problems explained. //HenrikHenrik Nilsson, ILM/FIM MVP Blog: http://www.idmcrisis.com Company: Cortego (http://www.cortego.se)

In order to enable the server to function normally, install the latest update. ". Any advise. Thanks.
