I've recencently installed a language pack and needed to do the final configuration with the Products and Technologies configuration wizard. I'm now unable to do this due to the following error: Unable to update the SharePoint products and Technolofies because an update is already in progress. I tried to get onto the Central administration console to check the progress of the job but am unable to reach it as I can't connect to the database. In the logs it states: 06/14/2010 14:43:14.80 w3wp.exe (0x0F54) 0x0E70 Windows SharePoint Services Database 6y63 Critical SQL Database 'SharePoint_Config_043dc4f2-98b8-4acf-b147-9766d355b88f' on SQL Server instance 'np:\\.\pipe\MSSQL$Microsoft##SSEE\sql\query' not found. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below. Cannot open database "SharePoint_Config_043dc4f2-98b8-4acf-b147-9766d355b88f" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'. I've looked into the DB server and there's no database named SharePoint config, I presume this is a temporary DB?
