Updating Outlook event and automatically replicating changes with Sharepoint calendar
I might be misunderstanding here, but you do know that you can link SharePoint 2007 Calendars to Outlook with a two way relationship IF they're the same version (SharePoint 2007 + Outlook 2007). This way, you can manage the calendar in Outlook and it'll still show in the SharePoint end. Have you tried this?Steven Andrews | SharePoint Professional | http://www.twitter.com/backpackerd00d | https://baron72.wordpress.com/

Steve, Sort of :-) . I don't want full two way duplication of the whole calendar. Acceptable would be updates to Outlook calendar events replicating to Sharepoint. Manual changes and additions to Sharepoint would still be viewable in Outlook view but selected events created in Outlook to be replicated to Sharepoint and then kept in sync. I suppose ideally, I want to do a two-way sync but optionally by event object not whole calendar. Niknik b

I am looking for a fool, proof way for team members to replicate occasional appointments on a team Sharepoint calendar. Drag and dropping the original appointment is nice and easy in Outlook side-by-side view of both calendars but if I update the appointment (shift the time for example), the Sharepoint copy is not automatically updated. ie presumably because it is just a one time copy. I didn't want to use the Sharepoint calendar as a invited resource (because people forget to do this) but am I missing a trick to do this simply ?
