Updates installed but SCCM 2012 says non-compliant - Compliance 5 - Specific computer report

Hi,

I hope someone has an answer.

When I use the compliance report "Compliance 5 - Specific computer report" I've noticed that some updates need to be installed, but when I check the server the updates are already installed.

This issue occurs for several servers.

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Roberto

Hi,

Have you checked the status of the deployment that contains the updates need to be installed?

Hi,

I've checked the status of the deployment. One of the impacted servers isn't in the list of the asset details.

The weird part is, when I delete the security updates. The updates will be ready for install aftwards. When initiated the install, the compliance reports updates correctly.

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

As a generally rule this will fix itself after ~week, when the SU scan is preform again and updated result are returned to CM!2 database. If you need to results after, force the SU scan cycle to occur on the computer.

If after a week it is not corrected, then it is likely a problem with the WUA itself and therefore you will need to reset it's local computer database. There are ton of blog post on how to do this.
