Updated wim image, now OSD TS prompts to remove CD?
I recently updated my Windows 7 OS wim image to include new patches. This is the first time I have updated it this year. The Build and Capture process went well and I was left with a new wim image. I copied that over to my DPs and updated. When I test it now, it eventually halts saying "Remove the CD and do not boot from the CD" after it "Copies the Windows Preinstallation Environment". I only use network boot, never the CD. Why is it asking me to remove the CD, when there obviously is not one and how can I make it stop? Did I miss a step after the Build and Capture TS completes? Thanks- Rob

Hi, It sounds like you updated the Boot image as well or could it be that you have advertised another Task sequence to the same collection with another boot image assigned to it? http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrosd/thread/a7002849-38e3-4e00-8bb2-af52510bd8be/ If you boot with an outdated Boot image or a different boot image than the one assigned to the Task Sequence it will download the correct boot image and then reboot as well, loading the correct boot image. Re-advertising a 32bit TS did the trick. Thanks, Jorgen.
