Update from SCCM 2012 R2 to SP1 with MDT

Hi all!

We are thinking about rolling out Windows 10, so we need to update our SCCM to SP1, no question about it.

What I'm thinking about is the MDT 2013 that we have integrated in our environment as well, we are using the UDI-Wizard for OSD.

What are the correct steps to update to SP1, thinking about the MDT and config files for UDI?

In my mind it is the following;

Backup xml-file for the Wizard and uninstall MDT 2013 (Removing the integration to SCCM first)

Uninstall MDT 2013 and ADK 8.1

Reboot

Install ADK 10

Install MDT 2013 Update 1

Install SP1 for SCCM 2012 R2

Integrate MDT 2013 Update 1

Create a new "dummy" TS to recreate packages

Copy the backedup xml file for the wizard to the new MDT installation

Update DPs

Rebuild all current MDT TSs

Have I missed something here?

Unless your project is in a real hurry, you might want to wait a few weeks with upgrading to MDT 2013 Update 1. For a lot more information and reason, please refer to this post: http://blogs.technet.com/b/msdeployment/archive/2015/08/25/mdt-2013-update-1-release-notes-and-known-issues.aspx
