Unwanted page break within rectangle
I have a report that has 2 rectangles, and within each rectangle are 6 tables. I require that the report be on 2 pages. I have set the page break to be after the 1st rectangle. This always works. However, I am sometimes (depending on the amount of data in the tables) getting a page break within the second rectangle. So the report will span over 3 pages. I have set the Report Layout to be a huge size (24" wide by 48" high), yet I still get a third page. And usually on that third page it contains the last table, which always only has 2 rows. What would be causing this page break within the 2nd rectangle?

Hi Kumar There isn't a page break between the 5th and 6th tables. I am using SSRS 2005, so I do not have the ConsumeContainerWhitespace property. The strange thing is, the page break doesn't always appear. Only if I have more than 6 rows in the tables. If I have less than 6 rows, the 2nd page displays correctly. Its almost like the second page has some sort of size limit that is breached.

Hi dachrist, To achieve your purpose, try to click outside of report body and go to Properties pane to find its InteractiveSize, set both Width and height to 0. Then, 2 Rectangles will reside on 2 report pages regardless of the data amount. thanks, Jerry
