Uninstall a trial version of Office
I cannot find a way to uninstall the trial version of Office. The uninstall guide recommends going to Start, then programs and uninstall .... there is no program that has 'trial' anywhere near it and the question box at the top right also indicates there is nothing with 'trial' in the programs. I also tried starting the 'notes program and using the 'file' tab to go to 'backstage, etc. but the file tab does not give me that option. I already purchased Office Home and Student and installed it, but I guess it will not run with the trial version still on the computer. I want to get rid of the trial version. any ideas? Thanks.

I would start by posting this in the Office Forums, these are forums dedicated to System Center Essentials. Office forum is here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/officeitproOk, so I changed my name...you can still call me Tom if you like. It's a...jump...to conclusions...mat. Thanks for your idea, but I get referred to this very site each time I try to get an answer and use the specific address you mentioned. Any other ideas? All Dell will tell me is they will not help me get rid of this trial Office they installed on my computer unless I purchase their services. Is that my only option - to submit to their coercion; I have already purchased my offial copy of Office from them! They still will not help. Is this common to computer companies, or just dell? Hmph! Thanks again for any assistance you can render.
