Hi Everybody,today I must uninstall an old SCOM 2007 R2 installation for labs purposes and reinstall it and SQL Server 2005 for domain changes....I start SetupOM and click "Remove" but I Cannot unistall SCOM 2007 R2:"Setup was interrupted before System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 could be installed"How do I unistall SCOM 2007? I must first unistall SQL Server and than SCOM? or not?Thank You very much

I've uninstall SQL Server 2005 succesfully, but when I try to unistall SCOM 2007 from SetupOM, I receive this error:"Error 25211. Failed to install performance counters..Error Code: -2147024809 (The Parameter is incorrect)"And setup fails.Why?Thanks

Hi DanieleI dont know the exact reason for the error message however it would be more normal to remove SCOM first and then SQL as all the data you are trying to uninstall is held within SQL, so Id iminage that removing SQL first causes the setup program quite a bit of trouble.If you cant remove it from add/remove programes then it may requie a rebuild...PaulPaul Keely

Daniele - Like Paul pointed out the issue you are running into is that the DB is already uninstalled and therefore the uninstall cannot procced.
