Unhealthy client, no self signing certificate, two items in 'actions' tab, one row of tabs.
I have deployed my client out to several clients and deployed several pieces of software with no issues. Now I am ready for a deployment with a task sequence; I am having issues with my client not self assigning a certificate or not completely installing the client. I have uninstalled and re-installed the client server times and also renamed the computer itself and tried new computers among other things. The client no longer installs completely and I only get two items in the 'Actions' tab. also there is only one row of tabs. I have tried to uninstall the MP reboot and reassign to no ava

Hi,

I would start by checking the following log files in the client, ClientIDManagerStartup.log, LOcationservices.log and clientlocation.log. Have you extended AD? Is the client within a boundary/boundary group that is configured for site assignment?

That is where I would start.

Long shot but i always check provisioningmode first (habit)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CCM\CcmExec

Check two registry items

SystemTaskExcludes should be empty and ProvisioningMode should be false

the clientlocation.log log was clean
