Unauthorized to view reports in console

Hi

I'm in the middle of a deployment of ConfigMgr 2012 SP2.

I have deployed SSRS on the same server as the primary site and site database. I have installed the Reporting Point onto the Primary server and can see that the reports are deployed to the SSRS successfully in the logs. I can navigate to the server\Reports and server\reportserver and see that the reports have been deployed as well.

My issue is that when i try to view the reports through the console, it comes up as blank. There are no errors in any of the logs relating to the Reporting point. The only error that i can see is in the smsUIadmin.log.

In it there is a error (multiple) The request failed with HTTP status 401: unauthorized. I have double checked that the correct reporting service account is being used and also changed the password just in case typed in incorrectly. The account has right to the SSRS database and i can see it being used in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager.

I have go so far as to uninstall the reporting point, delete the SSRS database and uninstall the reporting server and then re-install everything. This does not fix the issue.

I'm at a loss to try and figure out why this is not working. One thing i did notice is that i have to run IE in an elevated manner to see the reports through the /reports web link.

Has any one come across this before or point me in a direction to keep troubleshooting.

First thing I don't recommend accessing the report via the console, instead access them via the web interface.

Secondly, do the report work via the website? If they don't there is not point in looking at the console until that is fixed.

Hi,

Have you checked srsrp.log? No error?

Here is a similar thread that the Reporting server version was incorrect.
