Unable to work with it
Hi, I've setup SS2012 in Win 2008 server but when I go to the reports of Sql server like https://WIN-BVDIC8GIAHI/reports I've got this. Why? Server Error in Application "DEFAULT WEB SITE" Internet Information Services 7.5 Error Summary HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Detailed Error Information Module IIS Web Core Notification MapRequestHandler Handler StaticFile Error Code 0x80070002 Requested URL https://win-bvdic8giahi:443/reports Physical Path C:\inetpub\wwwroot\reports Logon Method Anonymous Logon User Anonymous Most likely causes:The directory or file specified does not exist on the Web server. The URL contains a typographical error. A custom filter or module, such as URLScan, restricts access to the file. Things you can try:Create the content on the Web server. Review the browser URL. Create a tracing rule to track failed requests for this HTTP status code and see which module is calling SetStatus. For more information about creating a tracing rule for failed requests, click here. Links and More Information This error means that the file or directory does not exist on the server. Create the file or directory and try the request again. I still wonder, why IIS answers the request (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/1113042b-4939-4f7c-8239-52e0c237d64f ) Give it a try, stop the IIS service and try it again. Ensure also the "SQL Server Reporting Services.." service is running. Olaf Helper Blog Xing

A billion thanks Olaf. Now I try http://WIN-BVDIC8GIAHI/reports_SS2012 and I can access Report manager now. But does it mean I have to disable IIS every time for doing this? Many Thanks & Best Regards, Hua Min

Start IIS again and try it; then you will see. In common SSRS and IIS can work side-by-side without any problems.Olaf Helper Blog Xing
