My environment is MOSS Enterprise with SP2. All of a sudden I am unable to upload files or save templates. I can edit metadata for existing document entries, but cannot upload docs. I receive the message "The URL 'folder/filename' is invalid. It may refer to a nonexistant file or folder...". I have checked the AAM, made sure the URL is well short of the allowed 260 characters. Also, I can create sites, custom lists, add items. One more note is that I noticed the job "SharePoint Worker Process Group Update" has a "Retry" status and "SiteSequence Upgrade Job" has a "Failed: status. Event logs show error for SPUpdateWorkerProcessGroup with the message "Failed to connect to an IPC Port: Access is denied". Any pointers? Appreciate a response. Thanks.
