Unable to upload documents to Sharepoint
We are running Sharepoint Services 3.0 as a hosted service, and one of my colleagues is completely unable to upload any documents as soon as they are a certain size, this size seems to be around 64Kb, not big at all. This whole ordeal started when he got Windows 7. What happens is that when we try an upload either a single document or multiple it all just seems to stop, the progress bar keeps moving, but no matter how long we wait, no document is uploaded. This also happens if we try to copy a document using explorer view. What I have tried is: * Tried firefox - no change * Disabled firewall/antivirus - no change * Tried as my user - no change * Tried several sub-sites - no change * Done a netsh int ip reset - no change * Tried different types of documents, being doc, docx, pdf, txt, you name it - no change So I am at a loss here, our provider is unable to help, searching the net for clues has so far turned up nothing, so what is left now than to try and get some helpful pointers from the forum... Thanks to anyone who have read so far Christian

the problem might be the access permission to the borwser process for accessing file system. it happen when browser tries to save/open file from local disk to upload/download. to solve this try following: run your IE as Administrator by right clicking the 'Internet Explorer' menu and selecting 'Run As Administrator'. and then try to upload the document. also try to add your site as trusted site on IE options -> security tab. Sorry for completely ignoring this question, it has slipped completely through the net. Thanks for the suggestion, I will make sure this gets tested. What is really strange though is that from the office location where I am located he had no problems uploading documents, but when he returned to the office location where he works, and his home office, the same problem happens. The two other users at his office location have no problems, so this is a really strange one...

Tested with "run as administrator" now, same thing, annoying, time for a reinstall perhaps, as they say, when all else fails, reinstall....

I can offer to test custom multiple file uploader It uses custom page to file upload.
