Unable to uninstall SCCM and DB
After running into trouble on our 'crash and burn (test)' SCCM server I decided to select the 'perform site maintenance or reset site' option in SP2 with 'reapply default file & reg permissions on site server' 'modify sql server configuration' and (probably what screwed things up) 'modify sms provider configuration'. This ran into errors so I thought I'd simply remove SCCM completely and reinstall it with a fresh db. However I get the message: 'setup was unable to create collections(s). Verify that your account has create rights on the collection class. 0x80041013' Now I am in limbo and unable to remove this at all in order to reinstall a fresh copy. I am no longer able to connect to the site via the console because the site can no longer connect to the db (on a separate box) and I believe this is why I get the message above (rather than a rights issue), though I could be wrong. Can anyone give me any suggestions how to fix this? I just want to install a fresh copy. I have a feeling the uninstall issue as I mentioned, is something to do with the fact it is trying to reach the SCCM DB which I believe was probably broken with the 'modify SMS provider' checkbox....please help!!!
